EventTimer is an app for Mac, iPad and iPhone that shows the speaker how much time is left. Each one works on its own – or together, so the showcaller runs the screen on stage from backstage.
Four ways to keep time
Count down, count up, count down to a time of day – or simply show a big clock. The display flashes yellow when it is time to sum up and red when time is up. After that it counts the overtime.
Agenda on the Mac
List your speakers with their speaking time and yellow time. Double-click to load one and step through the programme with Next Speaker. Open as many display windows as you have screens – and send the timer to iPads on the network.
Messages to the speaker
Send a message to the screen – WRAP UP, SPEAK UP or your own standard texts. Choose whether it goes to every screen or just one.
Remote control from backstage
Use the iPad as the display and run it from your iPhone – over Wi-Fi or directly with no router at all. One remote can run several displays at once, and a PIN keeps others out.
Nine looks
Classic, nixie tubes, flip clock, LED, LCD, dot matrix, neon, VFD or a ring that drains. Pick colors, font, text size and your own logo.
Green screen
Choose the green screen preset and feed the display to your video mixer. Key out the green with chroma key and the timer floats on top of your camera or slides.
